If you want to Become, just Be.  In order to Be, just Do.

Turns out Nike was onto something with their “Just Do It” campaign.

If you want to become better with money, start being financially responsible.  In order to be financially responsible, just start doing what financially successful people do.  In order to do the right things (for you), be honest about where you are and act accordingly.  If you’re not sure what to do or how to do it, find help.

If you want to become more healthy, start being active and healthy.  In order to be more active and healthy, just do what active and healthy people do.  In order to do the right things (for you), be honest about where you are and act accordingly.  If you’re not sure about how to pull that off, find help.

If you want to become a better business owner, start being a better business owner.  In order to be a better business owner, start doing what successful business owners do.  In order to do the right things (for you), be honest about where you are and act accordingly.  If you’re not sure how to make that happen, find help.

Are you seeing a pattern here?  Sometimes we overcomplicate creating meaningful change in our personal and professional lives.

Being honest about where you are is critical to figuring out the right things to do - at your current level.  A $100M business owner has systems and resources that smaller businesses just don’t have - yet!  If you have a $2M business and you try to do the things the $100M guy is doing, you’re likely to fail.

Instead, focus on creating a model match.  In other words, do what they did when their business was at a similar level to yours.  

Remember, they’ve developed their entrepreneurial skill sets and mindsets over the course of their experience...not time.  Although time is a factor in learning, how long it takes you to grow into the person required to pull off your goal is a choice.

Become - Be - Do (w/help if needed) - The formula for success is simple, just not easy.
